We Help Struggling Young Adult Men
Become Confident and Independent by Overcoming Difficulties!

"Cowboy Up" means: When Things are Getting Tough You have to Get Back Up, Dust Yourself Off, and Keep Trying.

Welcome to The Ranch House at Rope-Race-Ride Ranch, a family-oriented, authentic working horse ranch in beautiful southern Utah dedicated to changing the lives of struggling young adult men. The Ranch House is a safe place for young men to work on their quest for independence in a small family atmosphere with the guidance and structure needed to become successful.

Owners Mike and Raquel Randall have devoted the past 30 years to helping teens and young adults find meaning and purpose in life. We never have more than six ranch hands at a time which makes it possible to personalize each young man’s care to successfully meet their individual needs. We know that we can’t help anyone that doesn’t want to help themselves so our number one goal is to get them invested in their own lives. We have found that when ranch hands take on the responsibility of a horse they become invested in themselves. Horses don’t judge them for their past, which is key in relationship building and helps break down their barriers with other humans as well as themselves. Utilizing our ranch and our experience working with youth we understand what it takes to motivate each young man individually. We teach them the tools they need to excel, and to build the confidence needed to become productive adults.

Our days are structured around activities supporting the ranch, along with opportunities to gain vocational training and work experience customized to each young man’s interests. Our h3 Pyramid model of equine therapy, along with job and life skills training, sets us apart and is a fundamental part of our program. There is no time clock, no 9-to-5. We start early and finish when the job is done. The skills and grit learned here are easily transferred into achieving each young man’s dreams and goals in life.

We use the raising and training of horses as our tools to teach these young people responsibility, accountability, and respect for themselves and others.

If you or a loved one are looking for after care, a place to learn life skills or vocational skills, overcome anxiety or depression, or are experiencing failure to launch, please consider us. We are a safe, quality, caring program with 30 years of experience and a proven record of success in helping young people.
