Ranch Hand Profile

The Ranch House is very selective about the ranch hands we accept given the limited number of beds available (six). Our goals are to ensure that we are the best placement for you and to also preserve the safety of our current ranch hands.

The Ranch House was created to help young adult men overcome the following:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Low Self Esteem
  • Failure to Launch
  • Lack of Independence & Life Skills
  • Low Motivation/Direction
  • Substance Abuse (no detoxification)
  • Unhealthy Behaviors
  • Technology Dependence
  • Lack of Vocational Skills/Training

The safety of the young men in our care is a priority. For this reason, we do not accept those with:

  • Need of Detoxification
  • Psychosis
  • Felony Convictions
  • Sexual Disorders
  • Violent Tendencies
  • Non Ability to Fully Participate in the Program

We are here to help you determine if our program is suitable for you. Please call Mike with any questions you may have at (435) 691-1118.

Enrollment

The Ranch House is not a one size fits all program and offers flexible lengths of stay depending on the ranch hand and his family’s specific needs. Generally six months is the average length of stay. Longer lengths of stay are available if needed. We have a one month probation period where we will determine if our program is right for you. At that time, depending on how fast the ranch hand is progressing, we can more fully determine the probable amount of time needed to be successful.
